To strengthen our team, we are looking for committed trainees to become industrial mechanics (m/f/d) starting on 1 August.

Schapen 3,5 Years Start: 1 August each year

Your tasks during the apprenticeship:

  • Manufacturing, assembling and maintaining machines and systems
  • Machining metal parts by turning, drilling, milling and grinding
  • Reading and implementing technical drawings
  • Assembling components and modules
  • Carrying out functional tests and quality controls
  • Insights into manufacturing, assembly, hydraulics and mechanical systems

Your qualifications:

  • A good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Manual dexterity and an interest in metalworking and mechanical engineering
  • Technical understanding and a careful, precise approach to work
  • Team spirit, reliability and a willingness to learn
  • Enjoyment of practical work and physical activity

1. What tasks can I expect as an industrial mechanic?

You will learn how to manufacture, assemble and maintain components and machines. This includes turning, milling, drilling, measuring and assembling.

2. Will I have to work outdoors a lot?
You will primarily work in our production and assembly departments. Depending on the project, however, you may also be involved in on-site assignments.
